I really enjoy faster transmuting but I've heard a lot of people unsatisfied with the exp reduction in terms of prof gain... and I was trying to think of some sort of compromise (albeit it's probably a lot of work for Paul or maybe others have a better idea)

What if you gained a multiplier chain while rolling your stack of essences? Similar to how the old chain worked while solo'ing in the arena back in the day.

Would help to increase prof gain & give more of an incentive not to break the chain to continue on transmuting.

I really enjoy that faster mute, but low xp is boring.

Ohh I love this idea, it would be nice to have an added benefit to grinding on muting, and make the events feel way more beneficial

I guess I should mention that it doesn't exclusively have to be transmuting either. Other skills like fishing/cooking/glyphing/suff'ing would benefit from a multiplier chain or some sort as well, no?
Clearly I don't know the logistics behind any of this and can only really speak for myself & in regards to the transmuting skill - but this would feel like a nice addition to an already very tedious, and heavily time consuming skill..

yeah gives alot less prof, but at least it's not too bad to jump up to the highest posible mutes during these events, normally a lvl 40mag-myth would take me 5min each or so, with evens like this im down to 2.5-3min which is really nice
