Every mod on a map weather it's +EP, +TC +WELLS is jsut additive.
So let's use Evil Presence as an example.
ANY maze/map without +extra ep, will always have a chance to encounter EP, let's say that when you open up a new maze this one will roll so you have ~10 ep encounters in there
With an event of +100% Evil Presence this means u will find 20 ep encounters instead.
But this maze could also just roll 1-2ep, so you might only find 2 or 4 ep's in total aswell.
But let's say that you have a level 35map with +20 Evil Presence
When you open up that map, there will be guaranteed 20 EP encounters in there.
There will still be a chance of finding extra ep's on top, because this maze will still have it's rolls made when the map is being generated. Certain steps will have ep's
Let's say your map rolls 3ep's so with the 100% event and that makes it 6.
Now in total you should have 26 ep encounters in total.

It's the exact same math behind Treasure Chests
When you generate a new maze there will spawn x-xx amount of each thing,
Event makes that 100% more of them.

Conclusion: Events are only working of the actual base rolls in a maze, it is not a multiplier for the actual map mods.
