ok, i've read all 35 pages of this thread, and i'm not new to web hosting, programming, or graphic design... but i still can't get any sig to load. (been at this for probably 3 hours)

i've tried changing the CHMOD levels of the folders, editing the .htaccess files to all variations of the different suggestions here, my info.php5 and gd.php5 files return the expected results.... i'm not sure what is wrong. i've even just tried downloading the OP's example folders and seeing if they will load up, but no luck...

i keep getting this message: The image “XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX" cannot be displayed, because it contains errors. when I try to navigate to the sig.png.php5 link in FF. When I try the sig.png (w/o php5) it just says file not found.

Any idea why this would be?

*edit* hmm, i just tried IE instead of FF, and it dumped a load of code onto the page...

Would that cause this error b/c it is blocking external file access to the XML page for my LS char?

*edit* ahhh omg this is so complex! now i may have to look at doing something with "cURL"? if anyone knows whats going on, please PM me

this is driving me insane.

Sorry for the reaaaaly bad introduction but i get error after error.
i kinda got everything sorted but the thing i keep getting is this one:

Warning: imagettftext() [function.imagettftext]: Could not find/open font in /home/a9933044/public_html/Sigs/cold.png.php5 on line 76

obviously it can't find the font so i tried to upload a font in my webdomain aswell > didn't work

i followed the entire guide and even changing the font here:
// set the font and print text
$font = '/avqest.ttf';

to (for example) Arial.ttf > didn't work

can someone plleeeeaaassseeee help me out?

not sure if you know but it is case specific .
even knowing about this i make the mistake all the time.

try arial.ttf

nope, same error.

the reason i did Arial with a capital letter is because i looked in word and saw it there > with a capital letter <
