It's not something I plan on doing It's something I'm worried about happening and I play hc so rip me having the balls to join games anymore

Not sure why I needed to reread post one. I know there is the auto town timer, but seems like you can still die from something out of your control now with this update

Im not talking about forced dcs tho. Im talking about 1006 or regular just connection loss in general. But seems preventing f5ing to save death more important than protecting players from dying on an actual dc. This isnt so much a problem in groups as solo, but I see why its like this I guess. Just wasnt sure if there was any plans/way to provide some protection for actual dc protection other than auto timer, not sure if this is even possible.

No, it is not even possible in the first place to 100% tell the difference in disconnects.

Yeah it didn’t really make much sense to me either. We went from no d/c protection to pretty good d/c protection then a complete 180 on it to less protection than we had to start with.
