This isn't exactly the real world though Paul. ;/ A lot of us come here to express our true selves. I don't mean to sound so dramatic, but this is like taking away our freedom of speech, especially if it escalates to filtering words on the forum too.

Depends on attitude and intent. If you're having a discussion with a police officer and mention what a shitty day it's been, they won't even blink. However, if you tell them what a f***** douche they are, they may get a bit edgy.

The update, overall, is fine. I just want to be able to change the names of my chars if I later decide I don't like them. smile.gif

Afterall, I think I only lost 3 mules. One was totally empty, another had at most a 50fg item on it, and I've no clue what the third was. Big deal. laugh.gif

Serious, this thread has more whining than anything seen this side of france. Grow up, people. There's always risk, and Paul's being cool about it by not deleting chars loaded with gear and such unless they're excessively offensive. Where's the issue? huh.gif

You guys are ridiculous. Argueing over the fact that curse words are not allowed in Character names?

I suppose you have a point, but you've just changed the "contract" and not given us a chance to look it over before taking action.

It's not just about not being allowed a certain word in our name - it's the idea behind it.
