It is upto you... you can re-roll if you want... I did before reset, and will do it again when/if I start back up on it.

Rerolling is not grinding, but that is just my opinion
I feel like this about it, if you reroll, then you might as well just not grind, use already owned weapons and just climb.
The point of this is the GRIND. No weapon? Grind it out. No armor? Grind it out. No Charm? Who cares, grind it out!

I can see your point in a sense, I find re-rolling is still grinding it out... you still DON'T have gear, you still have to grind higher levels to obtain gear.
Only one thing is different... re-rolling helps increase your proficiency points... even if you got to rank 10, it is still hard to try and MQ with no gear.

Just my opinion, no gear = grinding

Why would anyone reroll? More of a hassle then anything and just retarded unless you hoard your climbing gear, which would just make the grinding worse with all the slots being used up.

Also, what's the benefit of going into a trapdoor? How much more xp you get? 1.5? Better drops still?

Drops are better but the monsters are tougher.... Sometimes you have no choice but to reroll in hopes of finding gear thats a smidge better depending on your luck. Could be a lvl 30-40 white to help beat down those mobs at 50+. When leveling with self found gear you will usually hit a wall where you can't kill a wave or even 1 solo monster unless you are blessed by gear that could achieve killing monsters at 35+ or maybe even lower

Don't know anything about TD xp... but guessing it is 1.25 to 1.50 based on gaining the same 1-2% increase per normal monster kill and roughly 3-5% per EP kill.

Re rolling is beneficial when it takes you like 1+ hours to kill one monster, why not just re-roll and gain profs and possible upgrades on other gear in the same time.
Saying it is retarded without see'ing the benefits of it is calling the kettle black.

Guess we got a different mindset. By rerolling, I am assuming the player is going to keep the gear they have currently equipped which would take up a minimum of 3 slots, which mean there is less shrine-able space and thus a longer grind then before. The grind up to your equipment you're currently using will be the same like your current climb and probably slower because of less shrine-able. As you have done this challenge before, I am sure you are aware of the time it take to climb up to 40s and above; I personally would rather pick the target I want (1 monster back in the back column) rather than rerolling. There are benefits obviously, but it does not justify the cost in my opinion. If you think it is worth it, then by all mean do it. I do still think it is retarded to reroll, but that's my opinion and you are entitled to yours.
