I never cared much about actions only damage, you can spam multistrike at 10% and get millions of actions and loads of prof without doing anything of value for the group.

you can also overcharge abilities, do a lot of dmg and no actions and most of the dmg is just overkills and got no value for the group either

best is to strike a balance in my opinion

If i can do 4k actions, and you have 2k or less, and you out damage me, Then youre gonna come to every climb im in. However, if you dont come close to my damage with that low of actions, i dont see the point in climbing with you UNLESS youre brand new and trying to learn.

Also, if your gear is better than mine, and I do more damage, should be a good time to figure out why. When i started this game, i absolutely sucked at it. My gear is now i guess average/above average so i can hang with most groups. Also i learned how to "click" so to speak. When to use abilities, and when not to.
