I'll let you hear my crazy idea. What if we are able to use our guild points for tickets in the hourly raffle? At least GP's would have some kind of use then.
Every time you earn +1 gp you gain it for your guild's total (like normal), +1 to your personal Points in guild (like normal), but now you also earn +1ticket for wagering on the hourly raffle to use at the time of your choice

That's a great idea man, no joke! I'd up the ticket # though, make it 5 tickets. You reset the ladder, you now have 500 chances to make some FG on top of that as well.

The only caveat I'd add is that tickets do not increase the raffle pot (just to keep it so FG isn't being created out of thin air)

That'd also give new players an incentive to play LS + it'd just be a cherry on top for the top LS players.

A ticket is 5 fg and only 3 goes into the pot. 2 poofs!

Q: How much does the pot increase for every ticket purchased?
A: The formula is quite complicated. Part of the FG increases the pot, the rest goes to the site.

Exactly, but LS players get a break from having their FG removed. It's a solid idea and it'd generate players to LS. I see all this fire equipment (fire to me, anyways) going for a couple hundred FG because everyone already has their setups. This idea would definitely bring players in, it costs nothing, requires barely any work to implement, doesn't generate excess FG in the system, and gives GP an actual use.

Oh and improves the value of everyones gear.
