Or because solo players exist and you shouldn’t be penalized by bullshit like that.

No you didnt, u made a complain thread thats all

i did a full solo explore climb earlier on MONK, with 120 ee dagger. and yes it took a little longer, but i didnt see a problem. so i dont see the point in this complain/spam thread

You think new players can afford a 120 ee dagger? Would bet most cant. Sure you can get carried 90% of the time in group climbs but what group players want someone with a sub 100 ee MQ weapon consistently? Not many and there aren't many groups to go around in the current state, especially on HC. So while you may think he's made a cry topic it was just a suggestion topic and does apply to new players and solo players as well. If it's not considered then fine but might as well throw ideas around in an attempt to better the game overall.

Nn to get so hostile towards someone who explained their suggestion thoroughly even if you disagree.

Do you think new players should start or even concider starting hardcore in this game ? Hc is dead, and have been as long as i have been around.

there is plenty of activity in SC, people who show dedication will get groups here and there. but else they gotta do like everyone else, GRIND HARD.

Stop acting like this is some sort of kindergarden, where you can just complain and demand a button to turn events on and off just cuz u dont like the current event stats. all this will result in, if you newbies keep cry, is that he simply just turn off events completely for everyone.

Having an on/off switch for events wont make the game any better!

Why should HC not be an option for starting players? When I started playing in 2008 I played HC and SC and both cores were thriving. Of course games progress and go through changes and clearly those changes have favored SC so that's not the point.

Even if there was an option to apply or remove the event mods those new players would still need to grind hard. Just might get them to stick to the game a bit longer if there happens to be a mod that is very difficult but of course if it's a hard re-coding required by Paul then no there's no point in adding it in. Doesnt hurt to throw ideas around.

While a kindergartener could certainly sufficiently play the game it doesnt mean anyone who has constructive feedback is one... or maybe I am still in kindergarten damn

How is suggesting to remove a key part of the game at your liking constructive ?

we fought hard and long to get him to add events back into the game after event, this is litteraly an insult to Paul and everyone who did their part to motivate him to add back events.

How would starting hc as a new player with 0 fg and 0 knowledge about the game, help anyone, at most we would actually lose those few who are potential long term players. to either a ragequit cuz dead, or just to a dead section of the game, where gear is much more a must to get anywhere with any settled player.

P.s who cares what happened in 2008, we are in 2020 and hardcore is dead zone and only a place for players to go and die out(quit cuz dead)

You must be new here... insulting Paul’s changes is nothing new. If he listened to his player base for suggestions this game would still be thriving like it was a decade ago. Instead there are less than 200 people that still play instead of 500 actually playing at any time of day.

Lmao you just had to make it another hc/sc thread. Still has nothing to do with which core. It’s about playability of the game outside of groups. Excessive frequency and amount of MD events is not helping everyone. Congratulations you’re one of the people that enjoy the events and that’s fine. Some people either would like to play the basic game where reg mobs aren’t hitting 1ks constantly and leveling slows to a crawl.

I literally have no idea why youre so against a toggle. If you don’t want to use it then pretend it doesn’t exist. If the change would increase the playability for everyone there is no reason it can’t be added. As a whole events are still a newer feature to the game and can definitely use some tweaks. Just like when the TD mods used to counter each other or base MD was applying the buff wrong.

i didnt bring hc/sc up. i simply just clarified it was a dead zone for people to retire in, cuz j4r3d brought up that it is a good place for new players!

i am against a toggle, cuz events is key part of the game. and being able to toggle of hard events and only do the good events, removes the purpose of having events at all.

take the good with the bad. and stop crying!

exactly, people should stop complain, especially these hardcore scrubs. it is pathetic. first they brag about how good they are, and now they cry cuz a few events are hard ^^
