Yes Skilzzypoo saw that you needed the item. He said he got it cheap off the marketplace. The guy stated that you are the winners. He could very easily have worked this out with you.



The problem with these types of "snipes" is entitlement. Who deserves the item? Who is in the right? This is where intention and necessity come in. If he was bidding on the item and wanted/needed it and he ended up getting it then it's a done deal. Since the only entitlement is that he saw it on the marketplace then giving it back would be the nicer route. Either way the person who really is losing out is the seller because he should have just sold it for more (although I prefer that non-active slashers don't suck out all the fg from the LS economy). I don't know why he bought it and put it right back up but he didn't pay 1 fg, maybe he just felt exposed and said fug it and put it up for more. Had he paid 1 fg this would be a whole different story. He was buying a bunch of other items from the guy and must have seen that up as well. Fortunately things do work themselves out over time. Don't give up on the game and karma does exist.

yeah he really needed this item.

like i said i dont really care the charm wont break me. but when you are 30 years old and find the need to take an item meant for someone else for the simple objective of making a slight profit on it, you know your life is pretty pathetic.

and regardless of how you view the trading forum and marketplace, basically it should work like this.
the marketplace is like walmart. first come first serve. price is listed for all to see and you either buy it or you dont.
the trade forum is like an auction house. everyone walks in looking for different things and nothing has a price. you are in competition against others and the person who bids the most when the seller decides to let ir go is the winner. and the item is sold to that person, not any person willing to pay what the winner bid.

He purchased it with the pure intentions of trying to sell it for more to the person who actually bid and won the bid on it.
