What was once a game requiring immense planning and strategy in order to be efficient has become a glorified clicker/afk game
If the whole idea behind the game is to mq and reset the ladder, it needs to be well worth it to slow down that process temporarily and do the grind we grew to love and hate. (Soloing, now exploring, for hopes of better gear)
Currently, as long as you have 3+ mouse pointers semi-actively clicking randomly on the screen with mediocre gear you can mq in about an hour and a half. If you get a full team of hardcore clickers who put thought into their skilling and when to use those skills you'll end up around an hour (Less is possible ofc but for argument's sake)
Gotta have some real talks as a community on how we can fix it, if it needs fixing, and what we're willing to sacrifice in order to fix it. Without getting toxic and salty about everything.

Edit from other post.
Make it so if you want to be able to reset the ladder from here on, you have to have completed every single objective at some point so no maze no more and elemental education as well. It would make a reset more dynamic and more earned :D .
Very very interesting idea and it actually makes sense considering they are Objectives after all
Having to complete them on every class after feeder, or alch only or any class that character has been this season. Something along those lines wouldn't change much of the game other than having to actually play it and would make seasons longer.
Sidenote: Paul, I hope you don't take stuff like this too negatively. I know (we know) you've put a ton of time and effort into this game and trying to bring players to the game and have tried things which have succeeded and tried things which have failed. Catacombs and turning the game from a 2d text based game into what it is now with (what I'm assuming) is a very small team of people is nothing short of impressive.
