Not a bad idea Jeremy. I believe it should only work though on unexplored squares and not for people that blacktrack. And I have no idea how that would be implemented :lol: :wacko:

Also, are you talking about only hm/int mods or all side mods on heal charms should work in the acc slot?

Edit: Nvm I think I understand what you mean. Only the mods will work when you use the charm.

There are 2 problems with this. The first, is that everyone will have to climb as a group in order for the new players to succeed, and most people don't want to take new players because they have no gear/bad gear/won't invest in gear. The second problem, is that most new players can't find random groups because everyone is dead set that they can't play this game if its not a 1-71 every time. Items are spawning with gg stats all the time, and even though all of us want to improve our gear or find stuff to sell for fg, these players are missing out.

BS, this is why we are having problems now, everyone wants to think in the past. The shrine system weakened means that players (new and old) NEED to start skilling. Its very EASY for these new players to start fishing (invest a few fg into poles with decent dura) and build themselves some stacks and cook them. FFS, the healing power of mana/hp fish has doubled since the skill came out. All it takes is a little time and devotion.

This is your personal preference. If players come to LS and decide to hardcore/iron man it, then thats their choice. The mp has items on it that are only a fraction of what I had to pay for when I first started slashing. This playing style will certainly push players away, but thats their own fault if they refuse to invest in this game. With the way the economy is at the moment, its nearly impossible to make fg right now so if that is why the new players are here, we need to set them up for success and tell them right away "Your not going to make fg off this game. Play it for fun."

As for the topic post, I would say no. There are multiple ways to effectively heal (many of the heal abilities can make a dedicated healer extremely useful to the team) and I've already mentioned one of them. Why are we staying in a rut and not thinking outside the traditional slashing box?

Not really needed, if we utilise what is already available like Fish, Comfreys and the occassional Potions,
you will find that it will be easier for groups to climb with the healer being able to keep everyone alive.

The monster ability update is probably the best thing to happen to this game, now things may change:
1. Economy increase for selling gear, fish, comfreys etc.
2. Encourage people to not go afk in a group as often as they have done in the past
3. Encourage people to utilise other skills to help themselves and groups, while maybe make a profit to upgrade gear

End Note:
If this was implemented, the only things that will increase in price are heals that have EE with +INT &/or +HM mods combined.
Thus fish & comfries may remain obsolete, as in skilling: Fish, cooking & suffusensing.

Just my view sorry.

But seriously, some times people join this site just to play this game and they come on and post for with with like 5 posts 0 fg and greeted with mmulti and other comments. Theres no easy way for these players to start. They have to luck out and find a guild who will actually take em under there wing and if you have a new join date, no posts, its like never gonna happen. You need some rep to even be considered almost for guilds and for people to even answer your noob questions.
With the shrine change it actually helps people make a lil more fg with regen gear and fishes so that really helps them get started if they choose the path
Lol we should theory craft sometime on some changes, I'm 1 for 1 with suggestions but it wasnt a game changing suggestion. Just a minor thing, but it helped players on phones and lazy people eating :D
Tbh I know many of us have real suggestions but dont want to put it out there because we already know the outcome

Ok so let me start by saying a big fat NO if you want to use the HM/INT on you charm its simple ctrl click when you equip it instead of drag and drop ;).

So far from true. There is not a heal charm in the game that can keep up with the same tier of cooked fish. They are by far the best healing items in the game regarding ALL items comfreys heal charms etc. The stack sizes can get outragoues and heal Ridiculous amounts when i can heal 2k+ dmg in 3 seconds and still DEAL over 3k+ dmg WHILE i heal with fish.. how is that OBSOLETE in anyway?
