I like the game the way it is cause people need to communicate more to be able to achieve whatever the objectives are.
However this is not a bad idea cause yes it would make it more easier but the downside is that you lose some of the teamwork aspect of it.

fr rejoiners yes (after dc etc if you don't join other game but no for new players just joined to catacumbs - ofc it wil help when you want to pass driver @ someone else etc but hm im still not sure about it

i think mm is allrdy lost when someone leaves the cata.. so this idea doesnt have anything to do with mirror maze
it is just pretty annoying how it is at the moment with losing the map everytime when you got a disconnect...
