I'm not keeping a pot going for this, though I have a rough idea of planned donations from myself to competitors who accomplish certain things throughout their attempted climbs.

You should try it even if you don't have a lot of time.

At the least it gives you a new appreciation for your real gear if you grind out to level 10-20 or so.
