sure, im not the biggest fan of carrying ppl to mq, 1per group is fine, but when it comes to 2-3 with less den mediocre gear it just takes too much time for me to spend.
But we need to help newcomers if we want to have a future in this game

I wish more people realized this.

If they don't or refuse to, they should just keep quiet and not discourage others from doing so.




Good gear does matter, maybe not as much before because there was Arena where good gear truly shined.

If you want to get in a fast MQ run, it takes mid to high gear on almost everyone in the party. I have halfway decent gear myself, nothing compared to you but it is good for me and better than many. I have been in a few 3-4 hour runs lately, because I had to play several roles (tank and damager, sometimes healing also) instead of just maxing out my damage.

You take a look at a few of the UA/Hylian/etc Runs, they all have insane gear compared to me, and are doing at/under 2HR runs. To me that is super fast, my best was 2:08 and it was in a group that everyone was better than myself. They have the gear, they deserve to be able to run fast in my opinion. Trophy or no trophy, there is a benefit to having good/godly gear. I also don't expect them to want to carry the new guy, that's not what I was insinuating at all. They aren't the ones posting here putting the new slasher down or degrading a small accomplishment which might seem huge to a new person.

Now take 5 people with bad to mid gear. It's going to take them 3-4+ hours at the least to get to MQ, and that's stretching it. It could take them a few days due to RL and time constraints.





Feel free to send it all to me, I will make great use of it by handing it out to every new person that comes my way and be a god among men.

The importance of good gear died with the arena.

Yes we need the new players but only if he/she spend fg for items. Who rly want to play with ls.
So we don't need who just come here, make fg and after leave.

I couldnt agree with this enough.....hell you done even have to be in the game any more to get xp, just click once every 15 minutes and your good

As to the new guy.......its great you did the climbs and are enjoying the game, but as you found out, new people to the game who brag will just get raged. Even people who have been around for years will get drama for making posts like this. Its great you feel good about what you did, but posts like this should be in your guild chat.

I hope you stay with the game and grow with it, but you will learn that modesty will go along way in this community. Is it 100% right, maybe not, but thats the way the cookie crumbles on this side of the tracks......I am sorry but thats the way it is......

Congratulations on your achievement... do not despair from any of the initial comments that may make you retire so early, as I even get flak for my posts etc.

Well... look at it this way... I take around 3 days to MQ... so your achievement is something to be proud of.
