As shown by Lance and Brad in Indestructible, a guild full of maybe 8 slashers could easily do it above and beyond a guild with 50+ people. You just have to slash and get lucky. This is NOT about bragging rights at all, otherwise I'd let D2 be in it :P. I want to get more slashers started up. Perhaps get people in Labyrinth who have been dormant for a bit to come out a while or find a surprise guild that pulls together to do guild onlys a couple times this week!

It's funny how everyone attacks you when you try to do anything good for this game. So far it seems like only people who actually know how to slash supports this though.

Maybe jealous cuz they didn't think of it first, and try to degrade it by attacking the idea??

However, I can see the point of questioning the possibility of 100GP in a week -- there are not too many guilds that can pull that off.
And it may not even happen.
If it doesn't, then the funds will go back to the generous people who donated to the fund.
Still, it's a strong incentive to go out there and say to hell with the pain from Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

The other thing that has popped up in this topic is a suggested prize for the page 2 guilds: first to 25 GP for the week is within the reach of many of those guilds,
and if the community supports it, I will be happy to co-ordinate this for next week

This was my only point, and it is nothing against the ideas behind this competition.
I do hope it inspires more guilds to aim high and build better groups of slashers. I'd also be thrilled to see one of the smaller groups prove me wrong.

Ofc, I don't consider a group of 12+ people who MQ 1/day on average to be a small group. Size is measured in more than purely numbers in this game.
