I see what you mean and it is sad that people can't cata with others because of gear
but it is a fact that everyone making a cata can decide which players they want and
which they don't want. It's their game. And else why should the kick function be there?

Some ppl are gentle and let noobs in while others just wanna mq fast.

Don't bother it. He is just a pro wanting a 3 hour climb.

What has me laughing is because these very same people that cry about "elitism" are guilty of being the same, just in other venues. I'm willing to bet fg, that they root for a team of some sort(say football). They want "their" team to win. What they don't do is say "I want my team to come in middle, not last place for sure, but I sure don't want them to win, cause that's elitist and no thank you." Trying to tell people that achieving is somehow bad is pretty funny...let's all embrace mediocracy in all things. I suppose the kids on here still in school, if they get an "A" on their report card they get quite distraught and beg their teachers to lower it to a "B" or "C" because they don't want to be "elite". I'm sure their parents would be quite upset with them for getting an "A" and tell them "you're doing too well, we're going to have to punish you for not embracing mediocracy".

Put it in another context and it's rather funny that people get "accused" of being "elite" like it's a bad thing. I think I'd rather have my favorite team win and my kids get "A" grades over "C" grades. If that makes me "elite" than thanks, it's a compliment.

As to the original poster, your gear is fine to catacomb with me. I will cata with anyone that has put forth effort in this game. Sometimes I would rather play with people that have excellent gear and look to try to get them in the same group I'm in. It depends on my mood, if I just want to get some levels, then I don't care who's in the game with me(exception=leechers). Sometimes I just want to get a 1-71 done as fast as possible so I would like to find the "best" players I can to make that happen. I think many people feel the same way that I do. Sometimes you are more willing to work with others and sometimes you don't have patience for it. I don't think I would ever kick you from a game I'm in, but I usually join a group at lvl 1 and go to 71 with them and prior to that I'm on vent with all of them getting the group together. If we were looking for a +1 then you'd be welcome as far as I'm concerned.

I'm a Royals fan... I hope my team wins 60 games this season. That is me being overly optimistic.

The gist of my simily still stands and helps to show this "elitist" trend showing itself(thanks FatZero) and making it out to be a bad thing as pure bull.

Now, tell us honestly, would you not be thrilled if they win all their games? Would you be pissed off because they are too good?

Sure, but how does that make me elitest. If they did well, they did so out of skill, not because they spent a lot of fg on their team. They would have to find a lot of underpriced items that work well as a set and click about 1000 times more than the guy with godly gear.
