didnt play it before.. wont play it in the future
people said that this 'community' was this nice group of friendly and helpful people
they must have been high..
the game creator all but takes solo play out of the game.. disastrous for people that have to play at weird hours
my gear was worth like 20000fg and solo cata just crawled.. i shouldnt have to donate thousands of dollars to buy forum gold just to play a simple game :zzz:

As a player since session 1, I have been astounded at some of the changes Paul has made to this game, and have managed to adjust to most of them.

I cannot, however, understand the current caster setup, where a crappy barb splattercaster causing 10 dmg per char hits can out-score me on the xp,
and leave me 6 lvls behind, when I am doing all the damn killing as a melee player.

That's probably the most fucked up thing about all this. I'm always at least 2-3 lvls ahead, and that's if a melee is driving. On average, if I'm driving as a caster, I'm in front by at least 5-6 lvls

There is only one thing that bugs me with 1.20...
Reduction to gaining proficiencies and deaths are easily obtained.

The good points that have come to light...
Randomness with monster placement and other skills like fishing glyphing (more likely to reduce botters)

Casting delay when you splash cast, pity this was not implemented before update without the Ctrl+Click

Welling is super easy when you play GM with other GM players, now you can just Horde all the whites
on your mules as much as you can and just bang them all out when you find a well around level71 b4 MQ

No Maze No More... oh come on... this is the thing that alot of guilds are constantly wanting to do now,
the drops are by far superior than even climbing... look at all the great items coming out of the woodwork
in Softcore, look at all the price drops for gear that people spent 1.5x more fg before 1.20.

At this rate, you will be see'ing 90% + EE items selling for 1-5fg on the MP because every tom, dick and harry
will have something similar if not better.

This is why I buy exp glyphs, so I don't get left in the dust of all those splatter casts. For those of us with average gear, glyphs are a great way to help the team. Glyphs make objectives like Sneaky less of a pain (lpa, mpa, life steal, armor pierce, quick draw [esp. for heavies], crit strike, mana syphon, mana skin, etc. help). I'm assuming that everyone already knows how glyphs can help, so I won't go into all the different ways. To get back to the original point, EXP. GLYPHS have allowed me (pure melee) to keep up with the casters in many a game.

Support your local glyphers! :)

There is too much rage about updates. The game has changed. It will continue to change. This is a fact. Those who can adapt to the new styles of play will continue to do well. Those who can not will either quit or troll.

Thing is, having done (at last count) 66 climbs since the update, as well as much glyphing, muting, suffusencing, fishing, and a bit of cooking, I can say that personally, I'm enjoying it quite a bit. Not everyone will. Those who don't enjoy it? Why inflict a game upon yourself that you don't enjoy? Rather than raging, easier to just take a break until the next installment of the update is implemented. :)

whit 200 ppl Selling and 20 ppl buying if prices don't drop now i don't know when will they do..

that's quite fucked up, but i gotta play whit most of them cause no one is on.. at the same time i am..
IMO All non-casters class shouldn't have the ability to Multicast (Ctrl+Click)

Even though its fair, I don't like caster-immunes...it makes my ices look like shit damage because of the "0" minimum, with the same average as a lightning, but lower maximum because its ice :(. makes it look like i have a really bad lightning or wind charm
