What stats do you have for str/dex? Because I only have 256 combined stats since I am on hardcore.

the ratio system just has to be reworked a bit.. something like 10/90 dagger, 70/70 axes, 80/50 staff or whatever would be better.. 100 total is simply a little mistake in maths.. this would be fair if you had to stat your points in str/dex like 50/50.. then all weapons would be the same.. but as you will stat as many points as you can into dex when you use a dagger.. axes simply cant reach this.

You know one thing that would even things out a little more?

Swap the ratios for Dagger and Staff. Staffs have less use, so therefore should get potential higher damage in my eyes. Clubs are fine on their end of the spectrum, since they cannot even be used past Pally.

I have 0 problem with this for completely selfish purposes.

Edit: (I recently switched from Dagger/Axe to Sword/Staff.)

The last thread was closed after paul said everyone was wrong, and that someone should do some research because he's said it all before.


This is what I came up with - it seems we weren't wrong. He said this himself so I'm not sure how it can possibly be incorrect.
