I personally think we should phase out arena and turn this game into cata-only.

yeah, there is one in the game that is really good. Just one, that's pretty darned rare. Even if they dropped in arena, they would still be very very rare. It'll take another few years(most likely) before another good one drops. 200%+ ee do not drop often, now add that it spawns on a heavy...rare.

Remember everyone: You can't get a side drop from a well anymore (where LOTS of the GG drops are found), no arena.. no nothing.

keep "rare" items rare, why change it?
changing this will make prices on heavys change by time to standar wep prices.
and doing 1 hits in arena makes them abt more special. its a reason people like the heavys.
