Yes I have passed 100 GPs... but that is NOT MQ attempts.

The season idea was not thought of... but could be a go... like reset the durability... thank you.
Starting when it is implemented was my main thought.
New Stat idea is good...
Indestructible / Increase Durability... obviously would be a good addition to the game if this was implemented and also a way to change the economy for the better.
OR...
Increased Durability by 1% per Rank
Increased Durability by 30% when you reach Rank25 in that given weapon
Indestructible Weapon Type when you reach Rank50 in that given weapon
I do believe that the above calculations can be altered a bit more.
Mind you... after comparing my ranks vs the 250 MQ attempts, I would put it down to around 200 MQA durability.

People spend tens of thousands of FG for those very top of the game EE weapons.
Now, they are going to lose them after so long.
Personally, one of the biggest reasons why i love LS so much is because items never disappear.
It would certainly make me, along with others(im assuming) run away from this game if there's something new that can make you lose your gear.
There are ways around that... as is the post before yours mentions.

what about if you trade it before you mq?
these are things that need to be thought out properly
Trading:
1. Durability retains the correct information.... 25/250 MQA Durability (if it has been used in MQ attempts already)
2. The tag is carried on... so if the character is lvl71, then trades off the item that he/she uses, it is carried over to the new user... once the previous owner does his/her MQA, it will appear on the weapon that the new owner has bought... (when trading this way, the item stats and durability is posted in trade thread, and if they are that way BM... everyone will know)
I had thought about the quick ways to try and manipulate this, if it was ever implemented...
Now to answer the next scenario:
Previous owner tags remain, so you can not trade this back and forth to get multiple accounts to MQ and only losing 1 MQA Durability.
Only way a Tag is removed:
1. Re-roll and no MQ attempt is made
2. Character is Deleted... (as if anyone is that crazy)
3. (After thought)... Ladder Reset.
