Considering I only share gear with 1 Person right now and only 2 others possibly. I have no fear of people stealing my gear.

The people in my Guild are extremely bonded. We hang out with each other everyday on vent and have done so for 2+ years. A couple of us are irl buddies.

I can see why it would wanted for some other guilds. If it was added, I don't think it would be a bad thing but I always believe if for one second you feel edgy about sending them an item, don't do it.

Same here the goodies go to a select few.

vouch!! This game is made easy or simple. Tell your guildies what you expect about gear lending. They sleep
with it or whatever...don't lend it again. SIMPLE

With the two (2) statements I just made, you can improve on the idea in the future:

1. Add in a Fee to include a timer... this will give back to the economy. (Note: this is a donation right... Fee is 5fg per 12 hours)
2. I am not sure if you missed this: "Cannot be loaned out to any other" option... if they could... the complications will be severe to the site.
3. Refer #1: if #1 can not be implemented... how about a "Timer Fee" similar to the Guild Transfer... this means everyone in guild can use it... higher fee of course

I'm the best guildy ever by not needing to borrow guildy's items, and selling to them cheap, rather than putting them in a position where they're responsible for my game.

Perhaps we should instead make a topic on self-sufficiency?

it says right on the vault members owe you nothing in return so you lend your gear at your own risk.

and if you stupid enuff to get scammed from someone u thought was trustworthy then thats just bad luck and ur stupidty for trusting them lol

I am trying to think outside the box here. I want to make sure everyone realizes I have ZERO problems with anyone in my guild. My only worry is that someone doesn't make a boneheaded error and deletes/shrines something. Why wait until an accident happens if it could be easily coded in to be prevented. Crazy things happen. I know of a handful of ppl who have managed to delete an item they were wearing while being in catas. Yes, I am referring to MQ godly items. Heck, a best in game hybrid dagger was deleted by accident from someone in your guild BlackWidowad. It happens. I'm just trying to help prevent it & still lend to ppl.

I don't think ppl get it. I am seeing so many ignorant responses in this thread of ppl basically saying "just don't lend out". If you believe it will crash the economy--excellent reason to say no. Simply saying not to lend out is not giving this matter justice. Any decent guild lends items out to others knowing the inherent risk. Why not eliminate it if possible?

The # of ppl who don't need a helping hand in gear in this game are limited. This should be recognized imo.
