Ok so your plan is to make classes that are awesome at going hybrid but not that awesome at playing melee better as melee classes? The problem for me is that this buff is also given to the hybs which would now go form awesome to even more awesome so it would still be the excact same inbalance. But the game would be much easier.

Even if this was implemented... there will be no change between how the Hybrid/Melee classes NOW...
Proficiencies as they are... still do exactly what you said... Hybrid being the better of Melee.

Out of the two (2)... which is cheaper to build? ... Melee
Out of the two (2)... which one can NOT solo more effectively? ... Melee

After alot of comments based on this idea and others that I have asked about... I have found this one
to be more susceptible... also I have ensured that the "Sub-proficiencies" are not overly powerful like "Life Steal"
which after the comments, I realised that it was not a practical Sub...

At the start of reading your comment... I thought you had me... I thought you saw something that I had not thought of...
but then I realised that this suggestion does not make any changes what-so-ever between Hybrid / Melee...
But it definately made me think more on the matter... thank you for a great response... hoping for more
enlightening comments...

I was going to number each point that was made in your comments (10)... thing is, it is not a debate, and I do not want to ramble about technical issues that some slashers have when playing in catacombs... whether or not they have a 9 month old computer that is worth over $3500... or packet transfer from server to user PC when DISTANCE is a factor in delaying items appearing or when actions are performed.

Which character class can effectively do the following without using Glyphs...
... Solo 1-71? ... ... ... ... #1 Caster ... #2 Hybrid (expensive)
... Well @ level 64 with 99% success rate? ... ... ... ... #1 Caster ... #2 Hybrid (sometimes)
... Which Class is always welcomed in a catacomb group?... #1 Caster (Healer)... #2 Hybrid (Healer)
... ... Which character class can do all of the above without using GLYPHS?... #1 Caster...

4x Caster
3x Hybrid
0x Melee

Where is the balance? ...

The 15% was an idea... at least I said to Cap it... promote group play?... This is how I see Ladder Slasher now.. and it is from comments throughout the LS forum.

1... MQ ... MQ ... MQ... that is right... this game is about Master Quests...
... Based on this... people go Catacomb to climb up fast to do an MQ... repeat/recycle
2... See #1

Honestly... it is not about Master Quests to me... it is about making my character the best character I can... by means this game provides.
Grind & Find to upgrade... not use an item that disappears after use

64+ is hard but with guild leaders mq eq I can easily well at 99 % sucess rate at lvl 55-63. Full melee feeder ofc.

yes, but everyone doesnt have guild leaders with godly mq eq that they can loan out to everyone in their guild as soon as they reach 55,

Edit : maybe like this

every 5 ranks on the proficiency's used now you gain that effect

+5 sword = % Power Shot
+5 Axe = % Critical Flux
Etc Etc

can even add for fishing and healing charms

also the Bonus gained from this will work with all items - maybe?


i like this better

or each classes have different sub prof
like barb=power shot
fighter critical flux
rogue=quick draw
mage=mana syphon
etc
