It would be cool if there was a guild skilling prof aswell and every skill a guild member completed, the prof went both to the personal and the guild skilling prof, with the guild one maybe requiring 10x or whatever more points to get to the next level, and every skill you did your guild and character skill prof added together determined your rank

Hey, it is a great idea. I see the reasoning and benefit behind it, however I will stick to my NO vote as I feel it detracts from the Hardcore meaning of a Death and results of it.

You can't die from skilling, so why sould it be affected by death?

The Aesthetics of Hardcore is that if you die, you lose everything. Your suggestion just means that I could skill tons on a character and die and NOT lose skill Proficiency that character worked hard for... however, if you chose another character, that NEVER became proficient in a skill suddenly became skillful at it?

It has NOTHING to do with that "Skills don't kill you etc", it is how proficient that character has become to obtain that skill, your characters are not cloned with that skill rank, and they are not wired up so that when one of the clones gains proficiency in a skill that it is automatically transferred over to the rest of them.
