Pass rate/mqs/item drops etc. are luck based sure, but it's hard to find climbs/kill monsters/get prof when you have bad gear and a random guild

If this is mainly aimed at more casual or new people to get interested in the game, it's gonna be hard to find something that puts everyone at the same starting point

I encourage literally everyone who plays to give me some input. I've put a few suggestions above, however my own vote is worth like 5-10 votes on how doable/easy it is, although currently i'd like to avoid prof is all i'm giving away. If i have overwhelming requests for a certain objective, i'll attempt to make it work, if i'm able to, well then that's the goal. As i said i have someone in mind for assistance who can weed out botters/cheaters.

Here goes a list of people picked from who mq'd in the past 24h, please give me what you'd like to see for a christmas competition, especially you HC guys as some objectives may be harder than others and i'd rather you not feel excluded:

I believe last event i put 2k in each category, this year i'm aiming to double this (Perhaps more?!) and make the participation requirement easier. Although ideally i'm aiming to pay out more to "random" players than the top players where 2k means not a lot anyway where winning it was probably more of a reward

arguably everyone is on equal footing for prof. As i mentioned it even puts some people at a disadvantage as ringispiler didn't gain prof on half the climbs until level 30+ due to already having such obscene profs to begin with.
The issue is more about the availability of groups to newer players.

I did like the Bingo thing. It was interesting because it allowed you to pick your own objectives. Tracking and verifying this might be a bit of a pain.

Something bufcore related may be ok (based on the interest in this thread), but I would no participate. Don't want to delete any chars, or play on a non-main just for some fgs.

Some daily events could be cool, 24 days worth or 12 days worth.

The radio thing sounds really luck-based, which some people might enjoy. But this puts more of an emphasis on the forums, than LS, as you would have to "listen in".

I don't think trying to make all categories "fair" should be a major concern. Could maybe use the different categories to appeal to different groups of people. Newb category, Elite category, and something in the middle (if possible).
