the maximum room inside a labryth, aka an empty space with no walls, is approximately a 14/14.

with this event you could have up to a 28/28 *no walls* area.

the maximum could also in this example that you're using be 14x28
or if it is like you're saying 28x28

We also have a minimum size aswell

we had one of those events not long ago (sept 5th)

+100% Minimum Room Size

I would assume it would be working as (if we use ur 14x14)
base 14x14
75% max = 14x24.5
100% min = 28x24.5

OR if it is like you're saying it was 49x49, which seems way too big imo, so im pretty sure it's the other way around
