There is a serious lack of REAL end game items dropping, while there are plenty of low tier items dropping.
I think the most EE I've seen on an item was about 80 @ lvl 35. It's demoralizing. While you COULD MQ with something like that, it is not fun nor efficient. I feel like there needs to be a swing in the way items drop. The HC economy has been up and running since 2008 and has never stabilized. It's terrible.
HC never had a favorable update and when muting was changed is right about when HC came out..
Everything has been toned down like ambush and shamans to the point where they aren't lucrative to farm... It was still a godsend getting something good out of them before they were nerfed and that was with farming them 3-4+ times a climb.
Right now quests are either too easy or just to hard while the only rewards you can count on is the stats they give you. Their is a empty void concerning end game. The time it takes to do MM is baffling as well as the very little reward for it. You can whistle 3door classes in a group and earn around the same amount of gps in similar time it would take to complete the quest.
The mechanics that did drop items at one point like TDS , ambush, monster difficulty maps or just monster difficulty in general , and other stuff has been nerfed and collectively it takes its toll especially on a core like HC which never had the pleasure of free range of muting.
tl;dr . HC has always gotten the short end of the stick, quests aren't lucrative as they once were, we need more options in end game content.
