Monster difficulty will boost drops at least to some degree. Regular monster difficulty is much better than base monster difficulty. I wish Paul would clarify exactly what the difference is though.

Overall not a terrible event. It’s just not super sexy.

No, you get 4 GPs for getting to 101, then 1 for the MQ attempt unless you pass. Making sure there is no confusion there.
