the bottom one means that from the actual monster, they are 14% harder.

so if a monster was Very easy originally, a 14% hard monster is still not much harder. so you only saw a large difference on EP's

its like the difference between 1*1.14 and 100*1.14, the first is adding .14, the second is adding 14. ALOT more dmg.

the first one means that every monster starts at 2. so there is much fewer SUPER EASIER monsters, but the higher monsters are not too much more difficulter then normal (except for the 14% added on. )

i think :wacko:

All i know is that harder mobs = slower climbs and potentially better drops

100% Base means a factor of 2.0 that will be multiplied with 1.1475 --> 2*1.1475 = 2.295 times difficulty (i guess)

Gotcha. Thanks guys!
I was just curious :)

129.5ee if multiplicative, 114,75ee if additive

paul said that the dual events are closer to multiplicative then additive.

but i think you are reading the *100% base difficulty* wrong. Its not 100% difficulty. its 100% base.
