The thing is, most of them are not "failures" but straight up trash.
Than people edit the item to add 200 ee and 50 int lol

What is this thing with giving value to EE padded robes and not regular too? I don't get it lol. You get a bit less max phys def but way more magic def

Im not sure about NO value but the jump between padded and regular is because there are noticeably more phys attacks. The added magic def just doesnt offset the dmg the way the phys def does. I will say that near perfect reg robes work as well or better since you are normally going high vit anyway. I used a 250ee lvl 55 reg robe my climbs on sami-ninja because atom was active on hh still. It worked great :)
