This is a topic of great debate. Is the tonic syllable of the word "suffusencing" suh-FEW-sen-cing or suh-few-SEN-cing.

Actually since I imagine suffusence is a “verb” and based on the English rules mentioned above, I think the proper pronunciation is Suh-fuh-SENSE-ing

Every English word beginning with suff has the stress syllable on the suff EXCEPT for those that have c in it: suffice, sufficient etc...
