Also after the commands and updates, restart your computer.

they shoudl be re-starting between updates as it asks for a restart, and checking again for updates until it says its completely up to date

after that runs and is completed

did you try updates and see how many you have that youve ignored?

also was there any integrity issues, or violations that were fixed?

if its windows 10, or 11, some updates that are critical to smooth performance will not trigger automatically, go into settings, and manually check updates, let updates run with nothing else running, restart when needed, run updates again until nothing else is available. with windows 11, most critical updates will not run automatically, you need to go into windows update, and select advanced options, and complete the cumulative or pack updates manually.. note** your computer cannot go to sleep/hibernate, or be shut off durring these updates or the updates start all over again from 0..

most do not advise it but driver updates are crucial as well to a smooth running system. in dire circumstances, or if i get lazy i use iobit driver booster.. there is a free version available, however it will update most, leaving a few that you can typically search yourself, download and install from the manufacturers websites.

let me know how this goes?

also. an amazing utility to use is "Glary utilities" it finds a lot more than ccleaner will and it is less invasive ( wont trigger a false virus problem)

e/ can also msg me on disc if needed i believe we are on at least one common server?

So we are going to do a computer system file checker for a browser game? Seems like the issue may stem from either the internet connection, the host, or the browser itself.

Have you tried a different web browser to see if the issue re-occurs?

Maybe try clearing the cache and cookies of your browser to see if the issue's re-occur

i appreciate your effort, but in the original post i stated that i have cleared my cache/cookies and also tried changing browsers.

My internet speed is very unlikely to be the culprit

its very likely its the dust or just my crappy old PC. waiting to get a climb to see if the fixes suggested by others helped.
