once reset happens, all items leave the mp and must be put back up. with new fees.

Isn't it: they remain on MP, but are cleared of selling until expired (6 months)

I believe that ALL items on MP remain on MP for 1 year, even if reset happens during that years. Note, I am talking about items that are 20 forum gold and above.

I could be wrong, so, I would like the SC community to prove this as being false, also, with the update of VS 1.31

You can now restart the listing time of an item on the market by dragging the item to the item box on the sell tab and leaving cost the same, and clicking the Edit Item button.
With this feature, you can list an item at any cost, pay the fee upfront (if applicable), then as long as you refresh the item before it expires only have to pay that fee once! You can also continue to drop the price, if you desire, with each edit automatically re-extending the listing duration.
* Ladder reset still expires all items. Items that expired have to be taken to your inventory then relisted with any applicable fees paid again, as usual.

Now, as you can see from Vs 1.31, you do NOT lose fees by updating the item, also, NO ONE knows if this ALSO resets the ONE(1) year Market listing.

Has anyone actually tested this???

EDIT: Red bolded... this proves I am wrong... but has not been tested.

I have put a 120 ee charm vs 300 fg on mkt, it expired in 7 days, showed me value 0, I edited price again and had to pay fee again.

So true, but if you edited the price within 7 days (as only 1 day remaining), it would have reset the days back to 6 or 7 rigtht?

what he means is it will still show the item in our market on your end for a period of time after it expires. the item however will not show for those who search for it.

When an item expires naturally or as result of ladder reset it has a 6month countdown before it is deleted.

If you have 25 or more items listed below 20fg (expired items count as 0 fg regardless of price they were originally posted at) you can't post new items below 20fg.
You can post items for 20fg paying the 1fg fee upfront and then edit them below 20 after two hours.

Years ago would post all the glyphables sent to his vault at 20fg where they would expire and be stored forever. He was paying 1fg to list each item and lost the ability to sell items for under 20fg without paying 1fg upfront. This was much cheaper than a vault for the huge quantity of items he did not need regular access to.

Paul eventually added the 6 month countdown to prevent this type of behavior long term, with the added benefit of purging old data from the server.

Thanks for this clarification, I thought it was a one(1) year period instead of 6 months ... once again I am talking about updates years ago BEFORE you could EDIT items on MP without a penalty FEE.
