Never wanting it to be solo based is an interesting comment seeing as the first 7 or 8 season there wasn’t anything but solo.
Paul changed directions is more accurate.

If you explore they are “same or slightly better” if you completely ignore the fact that you go from 100% your item to a 20% chance at the item. Not to mention using ML is less effective if you aren’t last hitting regularly. That alone in my mind makes group play drops worse unless you get a group where everyone has ml on.
