Use your fat fingers, works with zero rank in fishing

Hey, could you or someone please tell me how to use the items with hotkeys? in the keyboard config wherever I put a fish the button doesn't work, either with the default '1' or changing it.
I'm not sure if I'm doing anything wrong or it's a bug or something with my setup, playing on ubuntu in firefox.

you just drag a stack into the hotkey box and then hit the hotkey when needed
idk why it wouldnt work, i just tried on firefox and it worked fine

Hmm, just use the "Trainer" rod you get or even use a Splintered Rod with 0 Durability... the same thing.

To be honest... use the 1 sec rule when fishing and DON'T spam click to get results and fail 70% of the time if not more... fishing is one of the easiest skills I actually invested time in on one of my Main HC characters that DIED... you will get the feel of it... also... on HC ... splintered rod with like 10 Durability is like 1 fg ... or buy a perfect 25 dura for 1 fg.

You should test the timing with a training rod first before using Durability rods, once you have it down packed... you will pretty much catch sardines 95% + so frequently, that your cooking rank will be on par... Rank 3 is easy to get in both fishing / cooking using a Tier I rod.
