AS i said before make trapdoors give 5 magic luck per level, add a boss mob on every tenth level with better rolled items, make it stronger than treasure pest and have the same boost as a well mob with good rolled items.

This is by far my favorite in here. It’s not overpowering and it would encourage group explore climbs.

Something to amend that would encourage group play is for every trapdoor you fall through, add 1 magic luck per player in group. I think that added benefits and functionality to group play is what would encourage more players to come to the game.

To be fair the game is fine.. or to put it in other words it can't get much better than what it is atm. For a game that has an active player base of ~200 people on both cores and not more than 1k total, it's been updated relatively often recently, for good and for bad

Some new content would be nice, but maybe it's not that easy to add, I have no clue. :( The skilling changes are probably the best, muting and glyphing are so much easier to rank up now, even fishing with the fishing rod change. In general monsters are tougher and drop better items according to how hard they were to kill so that's good too

The only thing that's really lacking is climbing solo imo. It takes too long compared to a group climb, it's not very rewarding in terms of drops because you get so many more items in a group, while also killing monsters so much faster. All of the "exciting" quests like mm/ee/nmnm etc can only spawn in a group and group exploring/climbing is already way less boring than climbing solo to begin with.

It can't be a coincidence, Paul doesn't want people soloing too much, which I don't like. Death farming was always dumb to me, that's not how the game should work imo, but normal solo is too boring,

I don't have a good solution to this. Either add a bunch of quests that can only spawn in a 1 man climb (and somehow are exciting) or massively boost the exp gain in a solo climb. I don't know why climbing to MQ solo should be 4 times slower than doing it in a group, if anything in most games I've played playing in a group is actually slower because the monsters are so much harder to kill.

Nah, there should be a cut off. Something feasible of course. Maybe 30-45 levels below your level? Maybe even 45-55?

I think there are some long term problems this creates. You will have a lot of people just mining solo at higher levels (100+ using your idea is where people would sit and just do solo. Then there would be a flood of higher lvl items. The current format with drops at higher levels being more rare I believe to be good for balance and longevity of the game.

not saying your wrong, but I think we have just different thought processes regarding the game (not saying either of us are right or wrong 🤔 ). I think the game would attract more people if there are better group options. It’s very tough to find a climb at most times, and even harder if you’re not part of 1 of the 2 very active guilds. I think the idea behind new content is to attract more people to the game.

Edit: to add to my response and elaborate on my thoughts on the status of LS to Jupiter. I think everything’s good if there is a big player base.

+1 the ML in TDs idea.

Consumables that add +1 to specific abilities.

Give a unique Cata-specific passive to each class ala detecting TDs, e.g. Ninja can detect spins, HH attracts more EPs, etc.

Why is a flood of high level items a bad thing tho? For me personally, I'm not here to get rich off off of items. I just like to be the most helpful I can be during group climbs, and make my solo climbs easier for me.

I was thinking find a way to bring pvp back.
But have it be kinda like a collusuem.
You go in and pick your enemy level and a starting white weapon.
(No item advantage)
As a dark souls fan I was thinking pair the chars almost like an undead match
Either pair the dmg//level//equipment or eliminate equipment in total.
You can't tell me you wouldn't use that when you randomlu get in an argument over something silly with your friends..
Settle it without Google lol

Either way. When you could pvp, we used to just play around and test dmg and certian things
