It boils down to just one(1) factor.

Number of Active and consistent players on Hardcore vs the current active and consistent players on Softcore.

All other factors like gear availability, prices and so on depends on this factor.

Example: if there were 50 active (consistent) players on hardcore competing with 50 active (consistent) players on softcore, there would be the amount of items available to trade, the forum gold price for hardcore would be higher because of the "loss of gear from death" et cetera.

Again... simple is simple to see, the only other difference is how people play the same mechanics based on one core loses items from death where as the other DGAF if they die unless they are prof hunting.

EDIT: Null vote, too many minuscule points.

so the reason there are no players on HC boils down to the fact that there are no players on HC.

I like it, very good

You fishing?

Simply put, if the so called 50 players online were 40 HC and 10 SC (instead of the reverse) consistently, there would be more gear, runs etc for HC... so I stated a 50/50 ratio to keep it simple... HC would still have a higher FG market on items in that scenario... but hey, you knew what I meant all along, you are just bored and wanted someone to talk to.

Of course I know what you mean, but it doesn't make sense bruh. There are actual reasons why the player distribution is the way it is. You can't just say if the populations were reversed then HC would be SC and thrive lol, no shit. But it's not.
