usually my 1st action is asking if "f" or "got space for a tank?"... followed by a slow response of yes/no (75/25).
been and still get kicked/asked to bounce pretty often to make space for guild members or known friends/climbers... kinda expect it now since alone in guild and not really active in groups.

on the other hand, some people in past have/currently do make efforts to help welcome new players (often meaning to help carry them in the group and give them chance to mq)
