I've lost about 1m fg in the last 1.5 years

Wow. 7k in a month. You must have tons of prof for all those hours played. I dont make much per month on LS.

That's an uninformed approach and anyone who says yes to that as if that's it is lying to you or they just don't know better...
Yes
The drop rate is low (especially if you group whistle)
But you can do actions that increase that low drop chance...
e.g.
ML gear --> increase drop
Complete Catacombs to get Maps-->run those maps-->better drops
Look for good stats on those map that increase chance of good gear: Monster diff / Item Drops / EPS / Chests instead of running any map.

Balance your speed of clearing vs what you are clearing

I've never spent any FG on LS I didn't make from LS

Remember u can make 500fg minimum off mutables each solo climb tho

Define “lots” of fg. I’ve only played LS. I have 10k fg and I dunno 20-30k fg worth of items.....

Transactions: 193 · Gold In/Out: 958.16 / 78.21 That’s from last month alone. All items sold worth 20 fg or less. The “junk” adds up......

Also want to add that you can make fg in LS without actually playing 1 second of the game. Treat the market like a “buy low, sell high” stock market and you can make some very good fg off of it.

7k is profit, used it to buy poe currency, and none of my gear is mine so cost was zero lol.
