i would als pay for a 3rd line of slots on all chars

One could say that a Rod never loses Durability or Snaps when you fail, disconnect etc... just like your normal items you equip your character. This could make a difference for people that like to fish. (Basically trying to find a Rod is equivalent to finding a Heavy Weapon, difference is that a Heavy weapon never breaks or loses EE)

you definitely have a point and I agree, but I just want to add that fishing rods are about 3x as rare as heavy weapons, or about as common as 2 heavy bases

technically heavies are more rare if you're looking for a specific one (like a battleaxe for example, or a warhammer)

When I fish, I have 4 empty items slots, and keep autostack at 27%
I Fish at lvl 40:
- I keep last 4 tiers From Salmon to Tuna - Life and Mana - so 8 spots
- I keep just few lower tiers fish / just life: cod, trout, bass

So I use just 11 slots, the same thing Ill do at lvl 49 also
I have to throw all rare fish and all the categories that are not in my keeping range (lower then 27%, low mana fish, etc)
When I fish from town is a pain, I also have to throw sardines and herrings, so the 4 empty spots are quickly being filled.

I understand and agree with all that you wrote.

I wish I wouldnt get low fishes when Im fishing at rank 40.. is like mutting at lvl 55 item and getting a tier 1 essence for it

This would make rods useless to sell as the Fisher only need one
I feel like losing durability when you dc is fine. Otherwise you could abuse it by fake dc

I just picked it up when I started playing again and now I wonder if I should have chosen a different skill. 👀

I think glyphing and fishing probably show usefulness the earliest out of the skills, cooking is a child of fishing, and suffu.. well... that's more or less a passive skill for transmuting or fishing

transmuting really shows its value towards really high ranks, where you need a lot of time (and item) investment upfront
