I typically just save my higher prof items until after a faster muting event because it does reduce prof points drastically.

Also, I think there are more important things that need to be fixed with skilling, muting in particular. I think the reduced prof points does make sense though

the only real bonus from faster muting is that I can mute lower level items faster - the ones that give 0 xp
well, now with the recent update, these lower level items now give some xp, but still...

I voted yes. There are some other changes that skilling needs. skilling should not give proficience based on time (which seems to happen), but based on the difficult of what you're doing.

also, skilling experience should be given after 71, if you are using a class higher than feeder, until your "mq level", accordingly to your class.
