Agreed, but totems are just randomized glyphs, comfreys are just fish in essence, and potions aren't really that amazing given their bonuses poof after MQ/reroll
I am talking about Totems, that give better rewards than Potions. Maybe you don't remember them because they drop so rarely in comparison to potions.
So, if you add in another "Drop Item" (i.e. essence) to the "Drop Rate" table, it MAY (optimum wording) REDUCE the drop rate of other items that we are after. Example, if you put an essence in the same Drop % as a Heavy Weapon, Comfrey or Rod, that means it would be harder to get any one of those 3 items, where the ratio would be like 1/4 instead of 1/3 chance to get something better than an Essence.
Simply put. If a Rod / Heavy Weapon & Comfrey had a 10% chance of dropping currently, that means it would be a 1/3 chance for each item if 10% roll was made, adding in an essence in that same 10% chance, would become a 1/4 chance ... and personally to me, that is fucking up my chances even more in finding a Heavy Weapon, not including one with decent mods on it.
