Are there any added bonuses or incentives to playing hardcore or is it just for bragging rights?

Well there are double guild point rewards for mqing on hardcore but most of us play it because it’s more challenging. It’s just preference. When I played halo 3 way back in the day I played mlg ranked instead of social slayer, why? Because to me it was more challenging, you felt better after a win. Doesn’t make social slayer bad, and it doesn’t make softcore bad, just preference

I just did it cause of double points and I was a d2 hardcore player.
Also hardcore came out later and there was zero gear. No broken over spawns

The first hc mq took months of complete of spawning 1 monster and killing or running away. There was also the old mute system for when hc came out

I just reached level 70 and there's no MasterQuest. Do I have to complete all the objectives first?
That's a bummer if so. I can barely kill anything and was using the auto dummy pilot. Oh man...
I'll have to figure it out later. I played all evening soloing and playing hard for the MQ. I'm too tired.

71 for feeder then add two levels for each character unlock. Also you need a higher level weapon. Pretty sure a random magic one would be better than what you have if it’s level 50-55

Yikes! I'm sure glad I didn't make a hardcore character. Literally 'almost died' with 52 life to spare.
Feeling under the weather and slept all day. Just woke up, my eyes aren't open yet, and started playing.

Because I'm facing level 70 monsters, close to 71, they ripped through me. I've got to be more aware.
I really feel like I died just now. I'm triple checking my death count. It still says 0 though. Hmm. Okay.

If you struggle soloing you can type /set easy 1 in the chat, that way you will only face 1 EP if you run into ep's. and fight 2 mobs instead of 3

I just ran into three monsters at once. That's way too hard for me. But I'm ready to attempt the Master Quest soon.
I'd like to start over at level 1 and have fun again, From level 1 to 49 it was super fun. 50-71 have been a tough grind.
The only game I played where I literally had to run away in fear was Path of Exile. I'm not used to a hard challenge.

yeah over lvl 70 you will run into 3 normal mobs as max, but if you have /set easy 1 there will only spawn 1 EP if you run into EP wave.
below 70 there will be same amount of EP waves but max 2 mobs if you have /set easy 1

someone will most likely correct me if im wrong but it's late and im tired. but iirc it's like that with /set easy 1 xD
