Lets be honest there's a reason Dan is hoarding clubs, he's onto something we clearly don't understand.

Unless he has diamonds, hearts and spades as well, he ain't playing with a full deck

Only changes the average damage--doesn't change the crit chance, which is all I care about anyway. I think you're just deflecting at this point. But at least you didn't say you already knew this lol.

I'm going to be honest here... I don't understand what you are talking about with the 79/21 and the 90/10 ratios...?

the ratio you use with 257str and 46 dex is 79/21

we know now, that the opposite stat increases crit chance, but maybe it is still affected by the ratios somehow

don't just weird thoughts, as most of the found stuff doesnt make sense at all

Oh now I see what you were trying to say, but your math was indeed wrong. 257 / 46 is roughly 85 / 15 ratio of str/dex... I really don't think the ratio is important at all, but I do believe that if you don't have enough dex, your crit strike isn't going to be doing as much as you want it to... if you are spending a lot on crit strike to boost str-based weapons, then you can probably also start looking for dex as a side mod on your non-HH usable items since a healthy amount of dex seems required for crit strike to work well on strength-based weapons. If it is not worth it for you to stat a little bit of dex, wear a dex glyph, or find it as an add on your gear when you use clubs, the conclusion shouldn't be --> "crit strike is broken with clubs," the conclusion should be --> "crit strike isn't worth it with clubs to me."

But your testing with a crit mod in your variables then you vary two at a time that results in roller coaster stats. So that’s in play. In addition you are attacking versus a monster spawn that’s never the same in defense/health. Further taunting the results. Then lastly forced to kill the normal potential damage of the clubs by starting 130 dex. In the end it’s still broken. 120 dex used to yield a set 30% crit to all. Now it doesn’t. The first post with the bold numbers tells everything.

If you pick up dex as a side mod on something you most certainly are losing out on the main stat "strength" therefore you are choosing that dex isn't as worth it to me as str. Glyphs are good sure.
I'm not claming to be the guru of mathematics here like Powertripped or you Bw. I am simply saying that I knew that the opposite stat gave higher chances to crit from clicking on mobs a few times with a dual stat charm using clubs. There is much to test in this game and information is good.

Code
Compiled Club Crit Chance:

128str 121dex 12cs 21% (n=8)
79str 90dex 6cs 15% (n=2)
79str 91dex 0cs 10.5% (n=4)
119str 125dex 1cs 10.3% (n=3)
119str 52dex 1cs 5% (n=3)
98str 69dex 0cs 4.5% (n=2)
221str 34dex 1cs 4% (n=3)
98str 34dex 0cs 1% (n=2)

Second Post Test:

257str 46dex 5cs 9.7% (n=6)

Based on previous testing, it seems you have had an improvement of damage output while keeping around 10% Critical Hit Chance (ChC)

You can see a major difference if looking at Ratio. I always look at something and see outside the square, sometimes it is overbearing for others, but, at least they can be dismissed easily with testing.

Your latest Strength is 250 and Dexterity 50 (5/1 ratio) & 5 Critical Strike ... don't know if it is a factor, but retaining roughly 10% Critical Hit Chance is great.

EDIT: Is dexterity really increasing ChC?
