The difference is, to work on other skills, you need items. You don't need anything to fish/cook. This also let's you shrine the items that drop.

There isn't much to it and I think you have to just try it for yourself. You dont need to worry about your equipment or dying.

Just go do it when you reach it and don't close your browser or press f5 while doing it.

I think you should try to sell your MQ guild point. Not sure what the market for that is ATM but either way make sure that the guild points don't go to waste so to speak.

After finishing your first climb your should put the game in "easy mode" otherwise your next climb will be harder.

To do so you have to type this every time you enter the game with a new hero (after muling etc):

/set easy 1

This will make it so that a maximum of 2 monsters and 1 EP is possible to spawn.

If not a maximum of 3 monsters and 2 EP will be possible.
