Do not get use to it. Ppl here have gear hoarded and if u need something you almost always pay more than fair market price. Everyone sells to make huge profits. 1500fg will not get u far.

Wait.. wrapping my head around this. You place rando gear up @ 10k fg... You have been saving your fg for literally yrs (2-3K?) and u think 10k fg prices you want to gouge ppl for is fair? Then you cry when u lose your fg? Your fault for being greedy. Gauge the community then get rewarded for it?? I knew I should have put female and made a pink border too.

That is not how any market works

and when u cant find a climb due to lack of players or when u have to carry a climb due to lack of new players lack of gear you can only blame yourself

I didn't think anyone would buy it for 10k I just tossed it up there. I usually just put everything up for 1fg. I have literally no idea what anything is even worth. I make a lot of mistakes in ls so I've been told. But i'm not being greedy. I just tossed it up there

Best way to combat this is to do the following:

1. Check if there are similar items on the market
2. Check the trade section of the forum to do the same as #1
3. Post a price check to get experienced players to weigh in
4. Post a trade topic

Blindly posting on the market is likely to lose you either fg on the fee or sell the item underpriced.

I dont mind selling underpriced while starting out. Its losing 1500 in fees that got me. Now I know better

define far.....will it get you to headhunter or alchemist...probably not! Will you be able to get enough gear to get to 71 and do MQ....EASILY!

define fair market price: because i find items selling for DIRT CHEAP and "BELOW NORMAL PRICES" on the weekends and find HIGHER PRICES on the weekdays! Like Meridius said...learn basic economics (buy low/sell high).
