Drops will never be increased by "a lot" that would only kill the game at a fast pace.

Drops used to be a lot better and the game thrived, but in the end its pauls game and i am happy with whatever he chooses to do.
Really enjoying it right now.

We did like 2-3 explore climbs and already found some interesting things

Not sure what you're expecting, do 20+ solo climbs without finding almost a single decent drop and then complain

E2: Yea, if a 100-150 ee item dropped every climb and 150-200 every 5-10 climbs or less everything would get flooded because there are not enough people playing this
