Ok small chance this might work, i had a older pc back in the day, think that day was a Monday btw, figured id add some filler before i get to my point.
Anyways go grab the free version of sandboxie, when u open ur browser open it in sand, but dont let it have all rights. limit it on what is allowed. ( i forgot the exact things, smoked to much pot i guess)
So this might work for you, or it might not... But i hope it does.
1 more random thought i just had.. some might think im wrong here or w.e but ur hard drive might not be reading right, or flushing the data u get to ur disk. aka slowing down the amount of data that is stored or read at 1 time.
Hard drives were never really made to last long at all, mostly the older ones, yes new ones are diff but the older 5200 and 7200 rpm tend to have issues with bad sectors and bytes. If u can and have a another hd laying around.
Try changing over to a diff one see if that helps the issue.
2 random thought, i know ram can go bad and cause issues with games and other programs as well. Try pulling out one of ur sticks amusing u have 2 or more in side. and try each one by its self. ( i think theres a program that will do this for you, i forgot the name but i dont think that program would detect all issues with the ram. anyways hope something here might help, or trigger someone else to find out the issue for you.
