There should be a change, but, I am not sure that it is what you want.

Personally with all the "whistle" games that go up to level 60 and then full explore to gain higher level maps in groups should be nerfed and solo games should be rewarded better.

How about "chaining" completed catacomb and increasing the chest drop %? Basically it would increase [or should] increase the amount of games to fully explore from level 1 to 71. Well, based on what I stated, this would mean that a group that sits and whistles up to level 60 and then completes their catacomb [which may only be the size of a level 1 catacomb], they will most likely not complete a level 60 catacomb before getting to level 71, and in most SC runs, they won't even care to complete it if they are just doing speed runs.

Well... guessing some will come at me for this idea... :D

If I'm understanding this correctly, I like the idea. I mean that I like the idea of chaining completed catacombs for better loot in each successive maze -- even if the "better loot" is limited to only the map(s) or uber chest. If such a feature were implemented though, I would really love if there were a place where I could see the chain counter go from 0 to 1, to 2, etc. because it isn't even impossible that such a system is already in place, but without a counter where we can see that it is working, it's only going to be chalked up to superstition and we aren't going to really see any corresponding change in playstyle :P

You got it right.

Yes there should be a chain counter when you enter the next catacomb it should show up "+1 Catacomb Chain Count" or something like that.
