Noob with noob perspective checking in...keep in mind I still don't know what I'm doing.
Voted yes. I haven't made it to paladin yet, only unlocked samurai this week. I don't think the order here matters much for the new player experience, although I would have preferred to keep using axes instead of swords. (I've got enough of a "set" to solo, but it takes me much longer with swords; purely preference)
To speak to the other points made here...this is definitely a rich mans game. The things I think I need are not found in the marketplace often. Noobs need noob gear at noob prices. Most of what's affordable for a noob is trashed or ignored when found, if it were put in the market for a fg or 2, it would benefit some of us. That being said, if the marketplace were pre-stocked with items for all levels (think npc as well as player sold) I think new players wouldn't quit so soon. Alternatively, lifting the cap on how many items can be listed in the market could also help.
Concerning the drop system, most of my playing is done on mobile (kindle and phone), and I'm kinda retarded, so that makes it difficult to pick and play when in a group climb. Solo isn't a problem, but I've yet to find anything worth keeping outside of a couple starter items.
For the people, I have not yet encountered the attitudes I see talked about. I've joined several random groups now, and nobody has been a dick about my crap damage or gear. I've seen nothing but supportive people so far.
Coz you act like a good guy.
People likes friendly "newbies" especially that if they want to learn and invest time into the "how it's work?".
Keep it up mate!
